The Partner Behind the Name
Dante Mazzanti founded Castlerock Legacy Partners with a deep respect for hard work and the people who build things that last. That belief has guided every chapter of his career and brought him to where he is today.After earning an engineering degree from Cal Poly, Dante commissioned as an officer in the United States Army, where he spent five years leading soldiers through demanding environments and learning things no classroom could teach. He learned to earn trust quickly, make decisions under pressure, and walk into an organization as an outsider, learn it fast, and lead it well.When he left the Army, Dante pursued his MBA at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, where he was drawn to the world of small business acquisition and what it means to step into something someone else built and carry it forward responsibly. Not as an investment thesis, but as a calling.Since then he has worked alongside senior leaders at major companies, led high performing teams, and developed a deep appreciation for what it takes to build something worth being proud of. He brings the discipline of a military officer, the analytical foundation of an engineer, and the business fluency of an MBA to everything he does.Outside of work, Dante believes that how you show up in the small moments defines who you are in the big ones. That is not just a personal philosophy. It is how he intends to lead.

Castlerock Legacy Partners is looking for great businesses to acquire and lead for the long term. We are straightforward about what we look for and how we operate, because we know that choosing the right buyer is one of the most important decisions you will ever make.Geography We are focused on acquiring businesses in Utah and the broader Mountain West region. This is where Dante lives, works, and is deeply rooted. We are not looking to manage a business from a distance. We intend to be present in the community we serve.Industry We are focused on manufacturing and B2B service businesses with recurring or repeat revenue, low customer concentration, and a capable management layer in place. We are open to compelling opportunities outside of those industries as well.Business Size We are looking for businesses generating between $500,000 and $1.5 million in annual earnings. Our ideal target has a stable history of cash flow, a tenured team, and the foundation in place to support a smooth transition and continued growth.Owner Profile We are looking to partner with owners who are ready to transition and want to leave their business in committed, capable hands. Whether you are planning to retire or simply move on to your next chapter, we will treat your business and your people with the respect they deserve.Not Private Equity Castlerock Legacy Partners is not a private equity firm. We are not optimizing for a quick exit or managing your business from a boardroom. We step in as hands on owner operators and build on the foundation you spent years creating.
